Unit services are overseen by Management Services Executive Brett McFadden under the direction of Karen Stapf Walters, assistant executive director of Governmental Relations. Program services are provided by professional staff and “practitioner consultants,” or via partnerships with other education associations and/or consulting firms. Many of these services are provided via an event or consultation fee. However, a portion of these services fall within the scope of a member’s dues and are therefore provided under the auspices of general member services. At this time, the unit’s programs and issue areas include school finance and operations; the Collective Bargaining Alliance; the RtI Project; theCharter School Project and the Education Legal Support Fund.
The online campus (nursery, school or higher education (college or university) management software has helped the teachers globally to spend lesser timer in carrying out routines such as taking attendance of the students, cross-checking the answer sheets of the terminal exams and weekly tests and bogged down in paperwork of other necessary routine processes. Thanks to the software which has given them the freedom of dedicating more time to their students.
School Management provides an innovative, comprehensive approach to providing efficient, state-of-the-art business management and planning services to Minnesota School Districts. Our mission is to help you achieve more with less.
A cost-effective alternative to traditional business management
here are many new pressures being put on Minnesota’s School Districts that are requiring them to become more accountable with less funding. In many cases, this will put pressure on current staff, and in some cases, create the need for additional staff that is often not practical to obtain. It is critical, therefore, for School Districts to find creative ways to do more with less. That is a big part of our mission: providing high quality financial services at a lower cost that will allow more funds to reach the classroom.
